Angry Old 1960s or 70s song

Hi there. I'm hoping someone can help me. My brain hurts from thinking so much about this song:

It's an old song. 60s or 70s. The lady sounded a bit like Petula Clark ... but likely wasn't her ...

The lyrics are something like this:

"start grooving now, you know you've got to get together baby"
    "start moving now"

    ... I don't know. It's catchy beat and tune.

Only one lady was singing. I think I saw it as a kid, watching a movie called the Man called Flintstone. Or some flintstone movie.

    Can anyone help?

It's kind of like something you'd hear on laugh-in, or with some weird hippie people dancing.

Could the movie be Our Man Flint or In Like Flint with James Coburn?

There really was a movie called "A Man Called Flintstone." It was an animated spy-spoof featuring the Bedrock clan. It was also a musical, so it's possible this was something written specifically for the movie. The lyrics remind me of "Reach Out of the Darkness" by Friend & Lover.

Red face I don't think it's any of those songs

    Thanks everyone for your help!

Unfortunately, I don't think any of these songs are the one. Perhaps another movie, maybe a cartoon movie. I think the first time I heard it was in a theatre watching a movie.

Hmmm. I'm trying to think of what else I could add.

It was a woman singing. Sixties hippie/Austin Powers kind of music, where everyone's dancing and there's electronic moogy kind of music playing.

"Start groovin' now, you know you've got to get it together baby"

I don't even think I have the words right. But it's close.

    Thank you all!

Could it be this oldie by Friend & Lover called "Reach Out of the Darkness":
"I think it's so groovy now
That people are finally getting together
I think it's wonderful and how
That people are finally getting together..."?
You can look it up on the Lyrics site...
