Hi all. Im new there, so i will introduce myself. My name is Lukas, im 18yr old student of high school. Im from south of Czech Republic, city Pisek (sand) with oldest bridge in central Europe (Older than in Prague). I want to learn the Bulgarian language, because i need it. My teacher (The best one) is my girlfriend which is Bulgarian. So its perfect. She found this sites. And because i dont want to spoil her free time only by asking... How is this in Bulgarian language, how is that. So i think that this forum can help me. I speak Czech, English, Slovakian. Bit understanding to Polands. Bulgarian language is so nice and so close to Czech and Slovakian. Let say that lot of old Bulgarian words which arent in use already, are normally used in Czech. Well i dont want to spam for my first time. Just hope that you will let me to share info here.

i guess i need to start from the begining.

and just a question, isnt' bulgarian the easiest of all slavic languages to learn? i heard that somewhere..

    andd.
in bulgarain, when you have a word like вие would you pronouce it vi-eh.
because in russian (what im used to) it would be vi-yeh.

PROPEL No I don't think so 'cause I've been learning russian for almost a year now and I can say that my language (bulgarian) is as hart to learn as russian (I mean that every language is hard for learning)

Well I don't think there is some kind a rule, like in German for exapmle where the verb always stays second...in bulgarian doesn't really matters...try with some sentenses something simple that U know and I will tell u where ur mistakes r

ok, so this language its very difficult to me because all the words sounds very similar to me. I hear it a lot but its still hard to me to understand all. I know some words but I could't support a conversation. the cirilic letters and the pronunciation I take it better (the only)...so that its my (low) level... I hope you can help me somehow, with conjugations, vocabulary, etc...and I will do the same thing to help you with spanish. thanks again.

all of you probably have a problem with the word order, don't you ? I think it's good to explain you as we compere the bulgarian language with english. For example, if we look the first sentence in bulgarian it's correct to say : "Вероятно всички вие имате проблем със словореда (word order), нали? " I mean that the word 'probably - вероятно' in bulgarian stays in the beginning because it sounds better.
    I hope i don't confuse you..

    bye bye
