Song for Car Video...

I am making a short video of my dad's car for his birthday and I was wondering if anyone knows a great...high energy...fast song to edit to, almost like a commercial for the car. (It could also be a slower song...I'm open to all ideas). I have many driving shots and tight angles and now just need to decide on a song.

But it's really fast paced. I used to love it.
It's called Flathead by The Fratellis.
Cigarello is also a pretty good song by them, but it's kind of older.

The cover of the Doors song Roadhouse Blues by the band Crystal Method is high energy and something your dad would enjoy.


Is your dad's car a classic type, muscle car, sports car, etc. Is the type a corvette, charger, etc. The reason I ask is because there may be a song which meets both your criteria and also your dad's specific car. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will definetly look into them. To answer your question, my dad has a Lotus Esprit V8, so it's more of a sports car than anything else. So a newer or fast song would probably suit it best.

My first suggestion "Roadhouse Blues" cover by Crystal Method" and the original "Radar Love" by Golden Earring are both high energy, non-irritating road songs.

Hello, is your dad in his 50's perhaps ?, if so, he might have liked the famous band, The Eagles. You could always ask him in a nonchalant way, if he ever liked that band and the songs he liked that they played, I would be surprised if he didn't like the band though.
