I wonder if there's any rule to help us understand when we should use este and e. I mostly use e and I don't know whether it's correct...

Both "este" and "e" means "it is". And i think it can be compared with "it is" and "it's". "Este" is more formal while "e" its informal.

You can say "Maria este fericita" sau "Maria e fericita". Both being very correct.

Vreau sa stiu daca ce-am scris aici este bine.

"La mulţi ani! Sper să ai o zi plină de fericire şi amintiri de neuitat cu familia ta şi prietenii tăi!

Sub am pus site-ul unde poţi să găseşti versurile pentru aceşti căntece."

    Mersi anticipat!

Very well, just a few small corrections

    - Mai jos/Dedesubt am pus/ găsești site-ul (Sub literally means under. What you meant is probably below for which we use mai jos/ dedesubt)

    - aceste cīntece

Maria mou, swatch explained you perfectly.

If you want, think of it as this

    Το σπίτι είναι εδώ- este
    Το σπίτι 'ναι εδώ- e

You use mostly e because you probably use mostly 'ναι It's the same with us!

@swatch: Thanks I got it now.

    Btw Maria nu este fericita

@Dya: Thank you Dya mou, now everything is clear to me! Actually I never say 'nai in Greek, although I use 'mai, 'xei, 'xe, 'xw, 'pe etc often.

Supposedly, if we have everything we should be happy also. So...something is missing

"Cāntec" is of neuter gender, so it is masculine at singular and feminine at plural. Romanian doesn't have a proper neuter gender, but there are substantives which are masculine at singular and feminine at plural and this is what we call "neuter" in Romanian.

The demonstrative adjective should be accorded to substantive's gender:

    Masculine Feminine Neuter
    Singular acest această acest
    Plural aceşti aceste aceste

P.S.: Sorry for how the table looks, but the forum software ignores formated text

Multumesc mult, Sahrian!
