They're getting sneaky with these questions now hey?

    #59
I think it is: Don't Let Me Down [like you said, a Beatles song] but by Doug Dillard and Gene Clark.
    Track 23 on this album.
    No sample on there, sorry.

The other two are a bit tricky.
    [still looking though]

edit: #55 = YouTube - The Streets - Turn The Page
aka; Mike Skinner [one man band]

    You are triple right again:

1- They are (in fact, he is) making it harder. I guess he likes to play "the hard ball players", but the other ones are getting frustrated and are complaining. I agree with both parties but i'm thinking of writing a "complaint" too. It should be fun for all players and it is no problem if several "hard"-ones end up with the same score. (And then I will bother you a lot less too )

2- I could find a .ram version of Don't Let Me Down, the snipplet is in this part.

3- And indeed, The Streets - Turn The Page fits like a glove

    Tnx again!
And again; just one more to go, maybe anyone else?

    Default Surfing distracts

Here I am again, with an old issue, but maybe I got a new light.
#52 may be "covered" with the waves you hear.

The quizmaster repeated himself, I think, by aplying almost the same trick here #60(Thatone is solved, singer, both songs, and the nova chord-ist(?))
Indeed: Was easy, more a farewell to one of the team members who's going away 4 a BIG trip now.

So I think, what do I think when I reduse, or abandon, the sea in #52?
I do see the film Titanic... but I often wonder myself.

Does the spark light a fire?

Well, the answer to #52 is given, it is September from David Silvian.
    (so the sea was added)

Meanwhile at the office im botherd with two songs I know Í did hear before.
At first glance I thought "sure, thats an easy one, i just need a sec to remember". But that sec became hours, days and now the week is almost done and still: "sure, thats an easy one, i just need a sec to remember"....

So I'm turning to you again:
    Does anyone knows #61?
    Or #67?

(Still think they are well known, so why not by me? think I should give up boozing)

Default Just like to share this.

** There is no question in this post, just enjoy this one **

I'm sure I have solved issue #67 after long frustration.
I even got so desperate I found this site: songtapper.
(You have to tap the rhythm on your space bar)
And after the first real attempt on top of the list Deep Purple popped up.
I had been thinking about them, but never thought of Speed King.

I think #72 is done by Richie Havens (do not know what number though)

    Do you agree?

It certainly sounds like his style of guitar playing, so i would have to agree with you that it is Richie Havens

tnx, that supports me in searching his songs, but did not find it (yet). Did wonder, and still do a bit, if I'm spoiling my time, better let that thought go and start fresh again......
But now I will "stay on him" a bit longer.

    Pfeeewww....

    Got it solved!
#61 is the dutch (youtube) Cuby and the Blizzards - Somebody will know someday.
In this version the voice is a guest (Tineke Schoenmaker).

You did help me with this.
By absolutely not having any idea at all,
while I did think it would be real easy for you (couse I did know I heard it more often, long ago).
That "confict" strengthened(?) my later beleave it had to be dutch
    Tnx all.

    -------------------------------

Now I've only got 2, fresh, items to wonder about.

A friend of mine suggested Taj Mahal for #72

Weirdo fits like a glove again!

I already gave an answer to #72 I think its Ritchie Havens and i guess it is youtube - Freedom.

(Could not decide for one of the tubes)

So, for now, the plate is empty, but don't worry, I'll be back for more.

And here Amazon.com: Grace of the Sun: Music: Richie Havens

    Hi,
Some juvenile angst, wow at least I still got that, made me answer to quick on #72.
I thought it sounded like the end of "Freedom", but Mumbles was so right....

    Default Back for more

.... And I have new challenges, solved some, but still have 1 + one-third to go.

First the whole one, #74, I just don't know.
If I try to translate the questions that came with it to engilsh I make something like: The name of the "group for the occasion", and the songtitle.

    Then the one-third question: #76
This is a weird mix of three song, all titles aksed.

    I found two of them:

1 - Several parts from Shocking Blue - Venus
    (u-tube) 1:53 => (#75) 0:42
    (u-tube) 1:48 => (#75) 0:58
    and both intro's

    2 - The flute, and more, from: Mama's & Papa's - California Dreamin'
    (u-tube) 1:35 => (#75) 0:18

But the third number, I don't find (I know that violin, I guess....)

    All help welcome.
