    I totally agrre with the off-topic thing.

    Still, I can't help myself, cause this is too funny:

    pe mâine şi te doresc o seară plăcută!!
    pe mâine şi îți doresc o seară plăcută

    (cause: te doresc-- I want you--Σε θέλω )

    Noapte buna, Gute Nacht, Καληνύχτα

    Turkish?! (I feel the need to notice what interesting combination of words and expressions you know in Turkish!!)

    Turkish is too much of a challenge for me. As far as I know the grammar rules are nowhere close to anything I may consider familiar... So ...not much hope in that direction
    Well, by chance, i work in a turkish company so i start to learn turkish a bit.
    The problem with turkish language is that THE GRAMMAR IS INVERTED!
    Example:
    - Günaydın Erdogan Bey! (Buna dimineata domnule Erdogan)

    Another example is that in the first place the subject is used and then is added the terminations.
    Example:

    -Kopek (caine);
    -Kopekler (caini-LER/LAR)
    -Kopeklerden (al/ale cainilor-DEN/DAN).

    Gun=day,
    Gunler= zile.

    So a single word can represent a hole phrase using this system.

    Then is the proble with writing; g in the middle of the word is mute.
    Example: Erdogan is pronunced Erdoan because the g is mute.

    Then is the problem with I; they have i, y, and i without the point above. This is really tricky.
    Example: Iyi gunler=good day.

    Iyi aksamlar (it pronounced iakshamlar)= good night.

    I guess you catch the ideea!

    This is NOT funny!

    But obviously I'm so good that I can already make ambiguous sentences :-)))))

    By the way: Bună dimineaţa!! (How do I say: Καλημέρα σε όλους?)

    ÎŢI doresc o zi bună!!!
    Plural: Vă doresc o zi bună?? (I hope this doesn't mean something else ;-) )

    Adrian, your explanations are great! Do you know if there's difference in the pronounciation of i and ı?

    Yes,

    i is normal i

    ı is the romanian î pronunced like in english ih!

    y is long i. iyim (good) is pronunced "iiim"

    Regarding termination a very important rule in turkish language is the last vowel from the word.

    Termination for plural is LER/LAR.

    Köpek (dog); plural is Köpekler because last vowel is e.
    Kitap (book); plural is Kitaplar because last vowel is a.

    Of course this is the simple rule....

    Regarding pronunciation....

    c is pronunced gi or ge depending on the following vowel. (Cemal is pronunced Gemal).
    g in the middle of the word is mute.
    ğ iin the middle of the word is normal g.
    ç is pronunced ci.
    k is normal c.

    And remeber turkish language contains letters like in german language:

    u, ü, o, ö, s, ş
