Marilou and merwan rim - Danser Sur La Lune

Les murs sombres aux reflets gris
La ville sans nom bercיe par l'ennui
    Toi tu rךvais d'ךtre יbloui
Si les יtoiles te servent d'abri.

    Alors viens, oh oui viens.
    Prend ma main
    Oublie tes pleurs, tes chagrins
    Allez viens
    Oh ce soir j't'emmטne
    Danser sur la lune
    Flגner sur les dunes.

Le jour on tire sa rיvיrence
La nuit se pose avec יlיgance
Tes yeux se lטvent plein d'insouciance
Tu voudrais bien que l'on recommence.

    Alors viens, oh oui viens.
    Oh allez j't'emmטne,
    Danser sur la lune
    Flגner sur les dunes
    Danser sur la lune.

    S'יvader un instant
[Danser Sur La Lune Lyrics on http://www.lyricsmania.com]
    Du souffle des tourments
    Retrouver le sourire,
    Le parfum des plaisirs
    Je connais ce chemin.
    Je connais ce chemin.

Je t'y emmטne allez viens !
Oh oui viens, allez viens !
    Oublie tes pleurs, tes chagrins
    Prend ma main
    Ce soir, j't'emmטne,
    Danser sur la lune
    Flגner sur les dunes
    Danser sur la lune.

    Allez viens
    Allez viens, je t'emmטne,
    Danser sur la lune
    Je t'emmטne lא-haut
    Danser, danser
    Danser sur la lune
    Humm, humm
    Danser sur la lune.

    10X thanks ...

    It goes something like this:

The dark walls with flecks of grey
This nameless town bathed in ennui
You, you dreamt that you'd be dazzled
    Sheltering under the stars

    So come, yes come
    Take my hand
    Forget your tears, your sorrows
    Oh tonight I'm taking you
    Dancing on the moon
    Strolling over the dunes

We take our leave of the day
    Night elegantly falls
    You nonchlantly raise your eyes
You'd like us to try again

    Chorus

    To escape for a moment
    From this troubled air
    Refind your smile
    The scent of pleasure
    I know the way x2

    I'll take you there...

How strange, every diacritic French signs of your lyrics apears in hebrew? Are you writing from Israel?

Here is my version don't know if it's better.

Les murs sombres aux reflets gris
(The dark walls with grey reflections)
La ville sans nom berc?e par l'ennui
(The nameless city rocks by boredom)
    Toi tu r?vais d'?tre ?bloui
(you, you dreamed to be dazzled)
Si les ?toiles te servent d'abri.
(If stars are used as a shelter)

    Alors viens, oh oui viens.
    (So come, oh yes come)
    Prend ma main
    (Grab my hand)
    Oublie tes pleurs, tes chagrins
    (Forger your sobs, your mourns)
    Allez viens
    (come on)
    Oh ce soir j't'emm?ne
    (To night I take you...
    Danser sur la lune
    (dancing on the moon)
    Fl?ner sur les dunes.
    (Strolling on the dunes)

Le jour on tire sa r?v?rence
(On the day we take aour leaf)
La nuit se pose avec ?l?gance
    (Night lands with elegance)
Tes yeux se l?vent plein d'insouciance
(your eyes cuddle, full of carefreeness)
Tu voudrais bien que l'on recommence.
(You would like us to begin again)

    Alors viens, oh oui viens.
    Oh allez j't'emm?ne,
    Danser sur la lune
    Fl?ner sur les dunes
    Danser sur la lune.

    S'évader un instant
    (Escape for a while)
    Du souffle des tourments
    (from the blow and torments)
    Retrouver le sourire,
    (Smiling again)
    Le parfum des plaisirs
    (The fragrance of pleasures)
    Je connais ce chemin.
    (I know this path)
    Je connais ce chemin.

    (the rest is translated above)

    Je t'y emm?ne allez viens !
Oh oui viens, allez viens !
    Oublie tes pleurs, tes chagrins
    Prend ma main
    Ce soir, j't'emm?ne,
    Danser sur la lune
    Fl?ner sur les dunes
    Danser sur la lune.

    Allez viens
    Allez viens, je t'emm?ne,
    Danser sur la lune
    Je t'emm?ne l?-haut
    Danser, danser
    Danser sur la lune
    Humm, humm
    Danser sur la lune.

Thank You very much...could anybody translate the rest of Marilou's song?

    Default Marilou

The two parts at the end of the song are repetitions of parts already translated with slight differences, but for your convenience I finished the work properly, I also corrected the French letters with accents which were transformed into a question mark. I spoted some mistakes in my English version, but it's fixed now.

    Enjoy !

Hi, it's good know where all people in this forum are from, and that all different cultures can gather around the music which is a universal stuff.

Actually I'm from Geneva, Switzerland where people use to be French mothertongues, and where hundreds of different languages are spoken every day. ;-). my city is a bit like the tower of Babel;-)
