Please help identify this song, I have a tape from the radio of it here in Australia in the mid 90's (I think 95). These are the first minute or so of lyrics, I haven't been able to find them anywhere else on the net; I typed them in myself. It's sung by a woman.

Ready to cook,
(something something)
And in the morning stand up and fight,
Cause soon they'll be second to none,
And you aint the one,
Only fools (something something).

Money can't buy you peace of mind,
But you've sure as hell tried,
And now you're mellow, like yellow,
Step up the next generation,
Come change the flavour,
You got one chance, one try,
No redemption for correction,
The situations vacant,
(something something) any woman or man wanna take it.

You can either make some money, make some noise, on boys,
You're desperately seeking a lot of recognition,
Individual inspiration build a reputation exercising human manipulation,
Fiercly committed with hands on experience,
But nevertheless despite the obstacles,
(something something).

There's more to you than meets the eye.
No practising politician, you sure know what's in it,
There's a question to be answered for you,
A question to avoid,
When's someone going to give me a straight answer,
He says he speaks for the people,
Makes decisions (something something) the people,
Then he turns around and treats them like they're simple.
