HELP, need to know who sings this

hey, so.. today on the radio they played a lot of songs from the same artist/band in a row, and i really liked them. as far as i could notice, it was an Irish man singing, and was a kinda rock/celtic genre, he even sounded very angry in a couple of songs...
I couldn't understand him well, but i managed to remember some of the lyrics..

i know this isn't a lot of info.. well, i googled as crazy, and nothing pops out, so im just hoping any of u know who this man/band is.

Don't know about these lyrics, that you describe (i could not find the lyrics, but i heard, they have that line "Do you really believe in the stories you tell" in their song, and if you say, it was rock/celtic, then maybe this band you are talking about?
