Please identify the song title/artists of the three song snippets in this "Wristcutters" movie trailer. I'm especially interested in the very first song (I think it's a song). I will greatly appreciate any help regarding the identification of only one or all three. Thanks, logan

I'm pretty sure "Occurrence At The Border" by Gogol Bordello is in there near where the car pulls up for the girl - around 1.34 counting down to 1.05.

    Here's a preview -Track 21.

    The last one is:

Ooops I just added an edit about what I thought was the last one.

    Am I wrong?

I haven't a clue as to songs from the OST being included in this particular trailer. As`we have painfully learned, many times trailer songs and songs in the film are not included in the OST.

My goodness folks. You're the best! Do you think the very first one is a song or something I wish to be a song?

True, Logan. But this time we have "Occurances at the Border" in both the soundtrack and the trailer. I must admit it surprised me.

All we have to do now is figure out what the last song is.

I have been "reliably" [huh] informed that the other one is from a song called "These Walls" by The End.
I checked and there is a band called that and they have a song called that too but I can't find a sample anywhere or anything on Youtube to check - maybe someone else will have better luck.

Unfortunatelly, nothing like it. "These Walls" is a a metalcore song.

I just listened to a clip of These Walls by The End and it sounded like something that would be reaching up from the depths of Hell. Not to offend anyone's musical taste, it sounds like that devil worship kind of "weird a*#" music that's a tad on the difficult to understand side. Sure hope it's not that one. I just purchased the other two. Y'all have done great. I'm very appreciative.

As I've been searching this, I find reference to Avril Lavigne being connected to the movie's trailer. Who knows how many trailers there are. Knowing nothing about her, I looked up her picture, origin, etc and it appears to me (loosely based on my stereotyping of her), she could be the one "singing" that first little part". Any ideas as to her?

Here's another teaser: MySpaceTV: WRISTCUTTERS TEASER by Wristcutters: A Love Story
(The song is "Through The Roof And Underground" by Gogol Bordello)

Avril Lavigne? Impossible, Logan. From what I've read about this movie, Joy Division is the most popular musical name connected to it (and Tom Waits, of course).

Besides... That girl is just a rock wannabe kid. It can't be her, no way.

Well yeah, I discovered that was their style too, but I guess hidden deep inside the song maybe, probably not, I know

Ah well nevermind, I wasn't sure of the reliability of that one anyway but I thought it was worth a try....I still haven't heard it

By the way, I'm really curious to see what the movie will be like compared to the graphic novel of Etgar Keret.

    Back to the song search...

P.S. Scott, I did. I doubt you want to do the same.

Thanks, I'll give it a miss in that case.

I'm stumped on the other song.

Okay, the first "song" in the trailer is actually from the movie score. It's written by the composer Bobby Johnston and it's entitled "We're All Immigrants".
