    Re: Hip Hop
If you want some good hip hop, don't listen to the new stuff, it's utter crap.

    Listen to these:

    • Monster Mack (featured on 'The Beavis And Butthead Experience')

    • Freakmomma (with Mudhoney, featured on the 'Judgement Night OST')

    2 Live Crew
    • Me So Horny

    Public Enemy
    • He Got Game

    • Bring The Noise

    • Fight The Power

    • She Watch Channel Zero

    Grandmaster Flash
    • White Lines (featuring Melle Mel)

    • The Message (Featuring the Furious Five

    Sugarhill Gang
    • Rapper's Delight

    Onyx
    • Slam (also get the Biohazard collabaration for added darkness)

    • Bacdafucup

    • Throw ya Gunz

    Cypress Hill
    • How I Could Just Kill A Man

    • Throw Your Set

    • Insane In The Brain

    NWA
    • Express Yourself

    • F**k Tha' Police

    Ice Cube
    • Wicked

    Ice T

    RE: ROCK MUSIC
In my experience, anyone who thinks rock music is just yelling only chooses to hear rock music rather than listen to it without knowing exactly what it's about. Rock is about expression and you really can't express yourself in a timid voice.

Plus a lot of rap/hip hop stars show false anger and emotion (ie: threatening people they've never met through the meidum of their videos) and they don't get called for it.

Anyway... Here's some expressive rock/crossover artists that should make you open your ears:

    SENSER (rap/metal/punk crossover)
    • Eject

    • No Comply

    • Switch

    • Age Of Panic

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE (rap/metal crossover - not like Limp Bizkit, much much better)
    • Bombtrack

    • Take The Power Back

    • Vietnow

    • Bullet In The Head

    • People Of The Sun

    Black Stone Cherry
    • Lonely Train
