    Cool Best I hear

Well, I listen to the Pogues - Drink whatever you like, and I heard:

Yes, I will tell about a rare auld sight,
Some harmana dancer is dressed in white,
your feelin' poor that sho' aint right, warm stiff whiskey,
you can drink whatever you like.

    Feelin' poor, carrying the man,
you all look past, pretend you dont care
feelin' poor, it sure ain't right, warm stiff whiskey, you can drink whatever you like.

    It's alright.

It's pride and drinks in the middle of the night, you toss your head,
when you know it's not right, you're feelin' poor, it sho' ain't right,
one sip of whiskey, you can drink whatever you like.

Some is poor, somethin's poor, somethin's poor about bein' poor, only the best should I adore, me goin' no black shits that's for sure, feelin poor like a special boy,
it's o.k. boys to see union cards, feelin poor, this night aint right, warm stiff whiskey, I can drink whatever I like.

It's alright, Yeah, I can drink whatever I like.

Yeah, I can drink whatever, I like.

    P.S. sho' means sure.

    Lightbulb

A die-hard Pogues fan told me this song is *NOT* by them, so I'd prefer this spreading of false information would finally stop. That's why I took some time to scour the net to find the correct artist and title.

It's Jimmy George, a folk band hailing from Canada with the "Token Celtic Drinking Song"

(the next link will give you some LEGAL downloads from the band themselves)
