    Question Old German Song

When I was a young child, I vaguely remember someone (perhaps one of my German grandparents) singing a song (in German). I can still remember the melody. It was comforting.

I don't know how to speak/read/write German, so I can only type what the words SOUNDED like (phoenetically). If anyone recognizes this, please let me know. Thank you.

    Myna Liebe, Myna Liebe,
    Deeshun by der glyche......

And that is all I can remember. Slim amount of information upon which to go on, but perhaps someone knows and can help. Thank you!

    Hi jyex,

unforutantelly I cannot figure it out; but I will write your words into proper german, so maybe there are specialists here who can find lyrics in the www only by having fragments - let´s try:

    MEINE LIEBE, MEINE LIEBE
    ??? ; BEI DER GLEICHE(n)

    Good luck

    Talking

    Hi folks,
    I guess it's this one:

    Meine Liebe, deine Liebe,
    die sind beide gleich.
Jeder Mensch hat nur ein Herz
    und nur ein Himmelreich.

That's a song called "Als Gott Die Welt Erschuf - Meine Liebe, Deine Liebe" (tranlated: "As got created the world - my love, your love" from the operetta "Land des Lächelns" (engl: The land of smiles) which was composed by Franz Lehar and got aired in 1929 in Berlin: Das Land des Laechelns - Wikipedia (unfortunately German only)
English, but very short: The Land of Smiles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Look here: LEHAR Land Of Smiles Hts - it's No. 8 on this song.

    Bye,
    Boby
