"why don't you stay" "don't do away" ? reggae

I heard this reggae sounding song in a department store that i liked a lot, but forgot some of the words or exactly how they were phrased in the song. it was a man singing and it was something like "don't go away" and "please stay" or why don't you stay?". he might have also said "say" the store was playing mostly like top 40 from past and present so i don't think it's too obscure. sounded something like inner circle maybe.

Have you found what is this song? I think we are looking for the same thing! I heard this tune several times last month in Saint Lucia. The lyrics were :

"So stay, don't go away, for another day"... "I'm beggin ya'"
and few other words : "remember", "people", "follow it", "hold on", "this one"

I love this song so much but can't find who sings!
