Default Solved: Help me find an awesome rock song!

I heard a song on the radio a few weeks ago and i found it to be amazing, however i forgot the lyrics by the time i got to a pen (i was driving). the only lyrics i can remember were what sounded like "just like you" repeated many times, it was part of the chorus. i made a recording on my phone that day trying to hum the tune before i forgot it. it REALLY sucks, i mean my singing/humming ability, so be warned. but i hope someone can identify the song so here it is: http://cold.badne.ws/what_song_is_this.mp3
its kind of a mellow rock song with a nice vibe to it. please identify it!

I tried to identify your song, cause i listen to a lot of rock, but I cant quite figure yours out...the part that you are humming is part of the chorus?
And It's a rellatively new song? I'll try to help..but we'll se what i can do!

    P.S. Your humming/singing is not that bad.....but I admit i had a laugh

Thats the start of the song and the part where i went overboard is like the end of the chorus, but the first part repeats over and over throughout the song and is the main tune. i cant remember if its a guitar or some kind of keyboard instrument.

i know one rock song by Three Days Grace, and it's named Just like you...

But forgive me for my random thought, as I did listen to your humming, and still I give you my suggestion based only on lyrics in your post...

I give you this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmWY28ITGfY and you tell us, if you mean this kind of music, or was it more mellow?

Thats not it, and its way more mellow and the singer sounds a bit like jane's addiction. also this is just an impression i got but the song sounds like its from the 70s or 80s. but you never know it could be 90s too.

I think the song you're looking for is "In The Meantime" by Spacehog from their 1996 album, "Resident Alien".

Wow yes, thats it!! yeah he sings "all in all, just like you" thats the part i remembered from the song. i thought it was older, or at least early 90s. awesome song anyhow. This version on youtube doesnt sound like the radio version i heard which was a bit more relaxed i thought. there was also an amazing piano part at the end which is cut off on the youtube version.
