SOLVED: almost impossible to find

Hi,
I have the "almost first line" of a song in my head and I thought it was titled Elephant walk but it's not or at least it's not the songs I've found titled Elephant Walk. The first line is something like this:
Oh the night was lovely and serene.
I'm not sure about the "lovely". It was a pop song probably from the 60s.
If you know it could you please let me know

I imagine that this is the song. This must be it and the other song I've found just had the same title. Thank you so very much. I'm going to try to find it and buy it. I've been looking a long time.
