    Looking for an artist name. Male sings high pitched. I saw a video on MTV around the first of 07. I think he says the word "love" a lot in the song. In the video he is playing guitar (thats about the only instrument you hear I believe) and there is a girl walking around. He has a pretty high voice for a guy. That is the most destinctive thing about him. The song was catchy it has just been a while since I heard it and now I can't bring the name to memory. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    high pitched voice always makes me think of Mika

    though a slow song would fit Mika better than the Scissor Sister

    I had the same thought as you steena, i thought it might be MIKA's "Love Today", but the video doesn't fit the description

    Could it be a song by James Morrison?? I don't really know which one, cause I don't really watch that many video's...

    Thanks everyone but none of these are it. He plays rythym guitar in the vid and it is a pretty slow song. Thanks again if you think of anyone else let me know please.

    I would really like to know what you heard

    Other things that came to my mind were either Placebo (an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elVMHKb8A4A) If it's them you surely recognize Brian Molko.. but I can't think of any real slow song without drums and so on.

    And John Frusciante - but the trouble with him is that his videos are rarely played on TV and that he has only a couple of videos.. and among these songs there's nothing that would fit your description

    Hope someone will come up with the right suggestion soon!

    Musiqsoulchild has a song called "love" and he sings the chorus pretty high, I'm not too sure about the video though, and he goes by just Musiq now.
    "And the music shall set you free..."
