Hello all.
I just wanted to make a tiny correction to Melina's translation of the Sezen Aksu song, "Seni Kimler Aldı" which I like a lot. The last line;
"dudaginda dilinde ellerin izi var"
should rather be:
"There are traces of others on your lips and tongue"
cause, although its first meaning is "hands", "eller" here, means "the others", as in another Sezen Aksu song:
"El Gibi"
Yok öyle el gibi durma gül biraz
Sana gülmeler yaraşır
No, don't stand there like a stranger, smile a little
Smiling becomes you
Here, the title "el gibi" means "like a stranger"
Love...
