hello there! Can somebody please help me translate the song "wherever you will go" by the calling in spanish..thank you very much..by the way, here´s the lyrics of the song :

    So lately, been wondering
Who will be there to take my place
When I'm gone you'll need love
To light the shadows on your face
If a great wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then between the sand and stone
Could you make it on your own

If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go

    And maybe, I'll find out
A way to make it back someday
To watch you, to guide you
Through the darkest of your days
If a great wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then I hope there's someone out there
Who can bring me back to you

If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go

    Run away with my heart
    Run away with my hope
    Run away with my love

I know now, just quite how
My life and love might still go on
In your heart, in your mind
I'll stay with you for all of time

If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go

If I could turn back time
I'll go wherever you will go
If I could make you mine
I'll go wherever you will go
I'll go wherever you will go

I tried to translate this song to Spanish, but i would be grateful if someone took a look and corrected my mistakes.

Wherever you'll go - Dondequiera te iras

    So lately, been wondering
Who will be there to take my place
When I'm gone you'll need love
To light the shadows on your face
If a great wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then between the sand and stone
Could you make it on your own

If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go

    Si pudiera, entonces lo haria
    Me ire dondequiera te iras
En la altura o hacia abajo
Ire a donde quiera que vayas

    And maybe, I'll find out
A way to make it back someday
To watch you, to guide you
Through the darkest of your days
If a great wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then I hope there's someone out there
Who can bring me back to you

Y tal vez, me voy a dar cuenta

If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go

    Si pudiera, entonces lo haria
    Me ire dondequiera te iras
En la altura o hacia abajo
Ire a donde quiera que vayas

    Run away with my heart
    Run away with my hope
    Run away with my love

    Huie con mi corayon
    Huie con mi esperanza
    Huie con mi amor

I know now, just quite how
My life and love might still go on
In your heart, in your mind
I'll stay with you for all of time

    Se ahora, justo exactamente como
Mi vida y mi amor podrian ir adelante
Dentro de tu corazon, dentro de tu mente
Me voy a quedar contigo para siempre.

If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go

    Si pudiera, entonces lo haria
    Me ire dondequiera te iras
En la altura o hacia abajo
Ire a donde quiera que vayas

If I could turn back time
I'll go wherever you will go
If I could make you mine
I'll go wherever you will go
I'll go wherever you will go

    Si pudiera retroceder el tiempo
    Me ire dondequiera te iras
    Si pudiera hacerte mia
    Me ire dondequiera te iras
Ire a donde quiera que vayas

    Layla,
You did a splendid translation . . . there is only one little line that needs to be corrected a little. The literal translation is correct, however. For the line: "I'll go wherever you will go," should read: "Ire a donde quiera que vayas," I hope this helps.

Yes, I agree that Mrs. Earnest's translation of that phrase sounds better in mainstream Spanish.

Also could say - "Donde quiera que tu vayas, yo ire."

    Hi ladies,

I think it sounds perfect like you worded damarys "Dondequiera que tu vayas, yo ire." In Spanish you don't need to use "tu"necessarily to imply you are going since the verb helps identify who is going . . . so you can also use "Donde quiera que vayas, yo ire." Thanks guys, I guess just listen to the song and see what sounds more phonetically practical. Thanks!
