Recently I visited my fiance in Morocco and "discovered" Fnaire while listening to the radio in a petit taxi, appropriately enough in Marraksh. I didn't even know their name until I came back home with the pirate CD some young relatives had copied for me when I exclaimed to my fiance while we were listening to it that this was the song I heard in the petit taxi.
He had never heard of them because hip hop is not a type of music he listens to. I don't really either, but I like the taqlidi rap style they have apparently pioneered. I don't speak Darija, but I could figure out their group name from the intro to Lif.Lba.Ta. Ata with Wu-Tang clan because they and Cilvaringz say it. I am Muslim so I have some familiarity with 'Arabi.
I would like a transliteration of Tajin Loughate and also Aaz Lkhil Mrabteha please. Just the parts sung by Tizaf and the chorus would be fine... the rapped portions are too long since I will be learning them phonetically anyway.
Additionally if any of you are in Morocco and know where my fiance can find the authentic Yedd el Henna CD and their previous release as well, I would appreciate knowing. He is in Fes. I have also asked him to find me a Fnaire tshirt, so any advice on where to find one would be also appreciated.
Thanks,
Kareema
