Neda vas majka - .. can be only something like "your mother's not giving you away/letting them have you (pl)" <--- literally. In other words "your mother is taking care of you - not letting anyone touch you"

Can someone translate "pristane" for me?

Example: "svi sanjaju raj, a niko na kraj da pristane"

I've heard that word millions of times throughout my life, but for some reason what it means is not coming to me!

It hardly came to me as well because "pristati" can mean many things and the first one that came to my mind is related to ships docking

I wish i know the "infinitive" forms of all the verbs. I just know the different conjugations, but I never usually have a use for the infinitive. Though it would be so much easier for me when looking verbs up.

Ćao, čitam knjigu "Ahilove Bitke" iz serije romana "Mračne Priče iz Mitologije".
Ne razumem ovu frazu na stranici 60:

"NE ČASEĆI NI ČASA, naoružane lukom, kojim rukuju sa ubojitom spretnošću, strašne ratnice se bacaju u bitku, prevođene svojom kraljicom Pentesiljeom."

Iz kog je glagola "časeći"?

Ne caseci ni casa means - not waiting (hesitating) for a moment, one moment, at all...

it's from a verb časiti which means - hesitate, wait...

Stalno daješ lažna i prazna obećanja. Sad kad bolje razmislim.. u tome nema ni trunke istine. Uvek kažeš da ćeš se potruditi ali uopšte mi se tako ne čini. Nešto se promenilo, skoro kao da sam nešto loše uradila.. Tako da.. bolje mi jednostavno reci umesto što nikad ne pričaš samnom i stalno ponavljaš kako će sledeći put biti drugačije.

That verb časiti is a derivation from noun ČAS, like ZORITI SE from ZORA, DANITI SE from DAN.... they are creative quips often found in our old epic poems.

I had to investigate what it is in Serbian to begin with... but I suppose the closest word for it in English would be "exorcism"

saliva = saliva,spit (eng) = pljuvačka (srb)
strava= scare, fright, awesomeness (slang-awesome)

so, it could be:

or:

But this SALIVATI reminds me a lot on CELIVATI= to snog, to smooch, but also respect&kiss an idol/cult/fetish (???), I think.
