I'm finishing up my first year of Turkish classes and need to do a presentation at the end of the quarter (about a month from now). A fellow '60s psyche obsessed friend got me into Selda recently and I was thinking that I might like just bring in a guitar and play one of her songs for the class. Can anyone help me come up with a song to play? I want to do one of her older songs - both because those are my favorites and because they seem like they're a little easier to play.

I also want the song to have lyrics which relate to the course material this quarter. Know of a good one which uses one or more of these?:

-regular past tense (the one which describes events you have witnessed)
-future tense
-command forms
-family members (baba, anne, abi, etc. - even if they're just used in the colloquial sense where you aren't talking about people you're actually related to)
-body parts (does she ever sing about her heart, hands, etc.?)
-living spaces, household items

I really love the original version of "Yalan Dunya" (the super-short one) but I don't think it includes any of the above.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
