Default Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time : english to french

Please, can anyone translate this Cyndy Lauper song into french ? Thanks a lot.

    TIME AFTER TIME

Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
    And think of you
Caught up in circles confusion -
    Is nothing new
    Flashback - warm nights -
    Almost left behind
    Suitcases of memories,
    Time after -

    Sometimes you picture me -
    I'm walking too far ahead
    You're calling to me, I can't hear
    What you've said -
Then you say - go slow -
    I fall behind -
    The second hand unwinds

    Chorus:
If you're lost you can look - and you will find me
    Time after time
If you fall I will catch you - I'll be waiting
    Time after time

After my picture fades and darkness has
    Turned to gray
Watching through windows - you're wondering
    If I'm OK
    Secrets stolen from deep inside
The drum beats out of time -

    Chorus:
    If you're lost...

    You said go slow -
    I fall behind
    The second hand unwinds -

    Chorus:
If you're lost you can look - and you will find me
    Time after time
If you fall I will catch you - I'll be waiting
    Time after time
    Time after time
    Time after time

    Hi! Hope this is OK.

Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
    And think of you
    Et pense à toi
Caught up in circles confusion -
Prise dans des cercles, la confusion
    Is nothing new
    N'est rien de nouveau
    Flashback - warm nights -
Un flash-back - des nuits chaudes
    Almost left behind
    Presque laissées en arrière
    Suitcases of memories,
    Des valises de souvenirs
    Time after -
    Fois après...

    Sometimes you picture me -
Quelquefois tu te représentes mon image
    I'm walking too far ahead
Je marche trop loin en avant
    You're calling to me, I can't hear
    Tu m'appelles, je n'entends pas
    What you've said -
    Ce que t'as dit
Then you say - go slow -
Puis tu dis: allez lentement -
    I fall behind -
    Je me laisse distancer
    The second hand unwinds
    L'aiguille de secondes se déroule

    Chorus:
If you're lost you can look - and you will find me
Si tu es perdu, tu peux chercher - et tu me trouveras
    Time after time
    Fois après fois
If you fall I will catch you - I'll be waiting
Si tu tombes je t'attraperai - je serai là à t'attendre
    Time after time
Fois après fois (OR à chaque fois if that sounds better)

After my picture fades and darkness has
    Turned to gray
    Est devenue grise
Watching through windows - you're wondering
Regardant à travers des fênetres - tu te demandes
    If I'm OK
    Si je vais bien
    Secrets stolen from deep inside
Des secrets volés du fond (de moi?)
The drum beats out of time -
Le tambour bat hors de mesure
    Chorus:
    If you're lost...

    You said go slow -
    T'as dit: va lentement
    I fall behind
    Je me laisse distancer
    The second hand unwinds -
    L'aiguille de secondes se déroule

    Chorus:
If you're lost you can look - and you will find me
    Time after time
If you fall I will catch you - I'll be waiting
    Time after time
    Time after time
    Time after time

PS All feedback/corrections to the translation appreciated.

    A very good translation, Birdman.
    Just a few suggestions/corrections.

Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
    And think of you
    Et pense à toi
Caught up in circles confusion -
Prise dans des cercles, la confusion
(?? OR "Prise dans la confusion de cercles" but still ???
    OR as I understand it:
Perdue dans la confusion des réminescences
    OR
Perdue dans la confusion de mes réminescences)

    Is nothing new
    N'est rien de nouveau
    Flashback - warm nights -
Un flash-back - des nuits chaudes
    Almost left behind
    Presque laissées en arrière
    Suitcases of memories,
    Des valises de souvenirs
(OR De souvenirs pleins les bagages)

    Time after -
    Fois après...

    Sometimes you picture me -
Quelquefois tu te représentes mon image
    (Quelquefois tu m'imagines)

    I'm walking too far ahead
Je marche trop loin en avant
(OR Je marche trop loin devant)

    You're calling to me, I can't hear
    Tu m'appelles, je n'entends pas
    What you've said -
    Ce que t'as dit
Then you say - go slow -
Puis tu dis: allez lentement -
    (... va lentement...)

    I fall behind -
    Je me laisse distancer
    The second hand unwinds
    L'aiguille de secondes se déroule
(L'aiguille des secondes tourne (rapidement)... )
(in french, les aiguilles d'une montre... tournent)

(you're right "à chaque fois" sounds better.
Suggestion : the expression "jour après jour" sounds great also,
even when repeated four times in a row as "time after time" is.
"I'll be waiting "jour après jour"" is cute.

After my picture fades and darkness has
    Turned to gray
    Est devenue grise
Watching through windows - you're wondering
Regardant à travers des fênetres - tu te demandes
(OR Regardant par la (les) fenêtre(s)...
    OR :

    If I'm OK
    Si je vais bien
    Secrets stolen from deep inside

The drum beats out of time -
Le tambour bat hors de mesure
    Chorus:
    If you're lost...

    You said go slow -
    T'as dit: va lentement
    I fall behind
    Je me laisse distancer
    The second hand unwinds -
    L'aiguille de secondes se déroule
    (... des...)

    Chorus:
If you're lost you can look - and you will find me
    Time after time
If you fall I will catch you - I'll be waiting
    Time after time
    Time after time
    Time after time

    Quelquefois vous me représentez-
    Je me laisse distancer-
    La deuxième main se déroule

    Choeur :

You want that ext above, translated into Engish?

    Thanks for corrections Jeff.

This is an interesting line. As you say it probably means that the hand is turning - ie. it is a clock you have to wind up - and will eventually stop. For an alternative interpretation I like to imagine that the normal turning of the clock has wound it up like a toy car and that it suddenly starts spinning backwards. In fact I was almost tempted to translate this line as 'L'aiguille devale (en arriere)", but wasn't even sure about the French.

Good point. I like your alternative interpretation. It gives more sense to this verse.
