Cool SOLVED: I REALLY want to know this song that was playing at STARBUCKS!

SOLVED: she & him - i thought i saw your face
    ____________________________________________

I heard this really cool acoustic "starbucks-ish" song. It was a girl singing, most likely a solo artist. The voice reminded me of artists like Colbie Caillat (Bubbly), Ingrid Michelsen (the "sweater song" from the old navy commercials), and Feist (1234).

It was noisy in Starbucks, but I remember the hook or maybe even chorus would repeat something like "I keep falling in and out of love with you" or something "I keep falling in love with you"

And in a verse she would say "my mother/mom said that..."

And I vaguely remember a line about "highways" "freeways" or something like that.

But the most distinct part of the song is the obnoxious WHISTLING towards the end.

I've tried googling it, but it's no use.. it's either you know the song or you don't kind of thing. PLEASE help me, you'd make my day! and then i'd be able to sleep better at night, thank-you. =)

Obnoxious whistling points me towards Young Folks, by Peter Bjorn & John: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51V1VMkuyx0

The lyrics are completely different, though this might be in the right direction?

no.. the annoying whistling is towards the end of the song I heard.

but i think the song is strictly just a girl singing, and not as upbeat as this one; acoustic, but happy acoustic if that makes sense, not blues-y acoustic.

    thanks though.

    My wild guesses are:

"In and Out of Love" by Cheri Dennis

"The Killer's Song" by Carolina Marquez

"All Good Things Come to An End" by Nelly Furtado
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

nope, negatory on all three, but they are all good suggestions, and the song should have more guitar.

Another song that has "in and out of love" is "amie" buy pure prairie league, one of my favourite songs.

I'm pretty sure it isn't your song, but maybe you'll like it anyway :-)
