Since the holiday season is upon us, I would like to know how my friends in this forum celebrate. Although I am learning Spanish, I am 100% Scandinavian (1/2 Swedish, 1/2 Norwegian) so my traditions are probably very different from yours. Tell us what your traditions and celebrations are like.

we decorate the house with a tree and everything. then we usually spend a day with the family all together the weekend before Christmas. And of course on Christmas we all open up presents.

In Argentina, a fake tree is always used, because when it's Christmas, it's Summer for us, so even now in the States, my family & I use a fake tree.

Also, Christmas Eve (La Noche Buena) is when we open presents usually.

& after that, we have another kind of Christmas-y holiday to celebrate The Three Wise Men (Los Tres Reyes Magos), in which we also get presents. It's on January 6th.

Si, se puede decir asi, pero es "La pronunciamos "blahblahblah", no "blahblahblah."

Pronunciar no es reflexivo y no se dice "como"

Amiguito, no es tan así ... Acá hay un ejemplo en el que "como" va:
Pero nosotros pronunciamos la "g" cuando está seguida de la "i" o de la "e" como si fuera una jota ("je"/"ji"), no con el sonido que tiene cuando está seguido por la "a", la "o" o la "u".

En algunos casos va, en otros no.... No sé bien cuando va... sólo me sale naturalmente...

Por ejemplo: "Pronunciamos 'ayer' a-jer, no a-yer."

Y su ejemplo usa "...como..., no como..."

Tu ejemplo usa "...como..., no..."

La pronunciamos = Nosotros la pronunciamos (it's the same )

Te diste cuenta de que hablamos bien nuestro idioma sólo porque lo escuchamos desde chiquititos, pero hasta que nadie nos hace una pregunta al respecto no notamos la complejidad del mismo ? Yo me estoy volviendo loca (piantada) de tanto descubrir cosas del español... muchas cosas que me salían naturalmente tienen reglas quehacen que sean así

Should i put "si fuera" when I say "como" in this case ???

Nos pronunciamos la ظ como la z (in EN), no como la th !!!!!!!
