"Christmas in July" (repost)

Trying to locate the music and complete lyrics to a song that (I think) is titled "Christmas in July". My recollection of it dates from about 1982 or so. I have some of the lyrics I that I could make out from a poor recording on an old VHS video tape; the refrain is:

"There’s a little bit of Christmas in every single day,
We don’t have to have the jingle bells, the holly or the sleigh,
It’s the way we should be living, the things we do and say,
We can Have a Merry Christmas, Have a Merry Christmas,
Have a Merry Christmas, If we try…in July."

It is a peppy and fun little song, mainly I think for children. The audio tape I have is from a church Christmas program in that time period. I have no information on the names of the artists or publisher, just the song. I have posted the video on YouTube, with some of the lyrics. If you have a chance to listen to the song, perhaps it might trigger a memory of where it comes from.

I did search around the web but did not run across it. There do seem to be other songs with similar titles or themes, but not this particular one.

No luck with the lyrics , but I found this info . , it's an album with children's christmas songs , including "Christmas in July ".

Thanks to you both for the Joe Scruggs Christmas reference. Unfortunately, the song on that album is a different "Christmas in July". I was able to listen to a sample clip on the Amazon web site. In searching around the web, I found several songs with that title, but still not the one in the video. I will keep looking [I may have to make up my own lyrics to fit the piece that is missing] :-)

Oh well , too bad!
Making up your own lyrics can be fun though ..
