    Wonderful song, enjoy it

    Stay here

    Stay here
to hold me in your arms, to interrogate me
why do you give to me the kisses of goodnight?
I'm not leaving tonight and i won't come out of the car
and if you have something to compare with me
stay here in order to learn it both

    Stay here, stay here
why do you give to me the kisses of goodnight?

    Right here and now
cause our way is old and a descent
the kisses of goodnight aren't present
i'm not leaving tonight and i won't go out of your life
and if our relationship is half, the words (are) run up
right here and now in love's anger

    Stay here, stay here
why do you give to me the kisses of goodnight?

Only a thing: Title's song is "Tis kalinixtas ta filia" not "Edo na meneis" (this is only how it starts, but in youtube sometimes appears in this way).

I heard this song live in Athens Rex Theatre...woaw...

I've just listened to this lovely song again and I think that in this context 'δώρα' would probably mean 'gifts' ( or presents ).

Let me know if you agree

    i loooove this song

Eleftheria Arvanitaki sings Tis kalinihtas ta filia, a Greek song which translates to “The goodnight kisses”. It is a lovely love song, written by Lina Nikolakopoulou and composed by Christos Nikolopoulos.

The song Tis kalinihtas ta filia i......s a song for lovers who try to find a balance, to try to avoid the end. The goodnight kisses can never solve a problem in a relationship. They are solved talking, finding out the truth. Leaving a problem behind is never the solution. Couples who love each other try to work it out, claiming each other.

It’s here you must stay, sings Eleftheria, in a demanding and absolute way. The only way people can find a solution to their problems – even if they break up in the end, this way truth can at least set them free to choose what they want.

The song Tis kalinihtas ta filia was one of the songs in the album “Meno Ektos”, one of the best selling albums in Greek music history, which made Arvanitaki one of the most beloved singers in Greece.
