Very Obscure Song! Please Help Me Figure This Out!!

Hello!

I'm trying to identify an obscure song I heard many years ago.

It's a celtic style song sung by a female. The word "Knight" is in the title as far as I recall. The lyrics were sort of like a story about this knight, and I believe in the end of the song the knight either dies or gets lost..something like that. It's at least more than 5 years old, but I have no clue what year it came out.

That's all I can seem to remember! If anyone can help me with I'd REALLY appreciate it, I've been thinking about this song for years!

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't think that's the right song though.

I'm *pretty* sure the lyrics are written in first-person, the singer being the actual character in the song, who is the lover of the Knight.
