actually laasema's translation is not exactly correct :

may the most beatiful love destined to us,to us
our names have given up as crazy, nobody looks up that face...
they think that love kneel down beside us, beside us

Im sure this isnt complitlu right either..there is so many ways to understand this i think.. but i think song is abt when people love each other but people dont accept their love and thhink that is wrong..?does anyone think the same?

in my dictionary "nasip oLmak" means " to be vouchsafed"

nasip olmak means to be destined

if u translate just word by word actually it doesnt sense anything.. every culture have differences.. thats why u cannot understand exactly...

I know Turkish is difficult to translate, but somehow if you look at Ali Yildirim's translations of Tarkan's songs and Zeynep's, you see that it can be translated so that it makes sense, so that it flows. Like this, it just seems as if the lyrics are a mix of separate, unconnected sentences.

yes in turkish the meaning of things are different to english. there are so many ways to translate and i dont think there is a right or a wrong way to translate them. only if you speak and understand fluent turkish can you understand the song.
