Lindsay Lohan song @ '05 AMAs

Hi there, hoping anyone can help. Lindsay performed at the 2005 American Music Awards and she sang Confessions of a Broken Heart, and she sang another song. I beleive it's a remake, cause only last night I heard what sounded like an older version... like from the 80's or something.

I only managed to catch a few lyrics... "like a songbird... a singing ooh ooh baby ooh"...

Any ideas who originally sang it and what's the name?

I love her new CD, so much better than Speak, it's like she found her niche, her sound. The lyrics are mor mature, and her covers of Edge of Seventeen, and I Want You to Want me, flawless.... I crave her :P
