Hunks, that is a possibility, but I dont know any song by them that it could be and i have probably 30 of their best songs, if you have an idea of one, please mention it!!

and Now that I think about it, Hunks, you could be on to something here, this most certainly could be a LZ song,
I just dont have an idea what possible one.

    Anyone else know?

    Sorry Maj,

I did have an album of theirs once, but the distortions got to me too deep....

    )

Another possibility (again not a fan, but I have actually been deafened twice "live" by them) is - AC/DC???? The music (for me) always seems to "intrude" on the words/text!!

Since it was a Classic rock station, may be it was something by YES like, "Perpetual Change" or "The Solid Time of Change".

Otherwise my next wild guesses are:

"Colorblind World" by The Boogie Boys
Rearrange, make a change, try to make a fair exchange

    "Flypside" by Flypside
Hot and cold thunderin' and lightening least that's what I'm told
Gotta flip it and change it and rearrange it
My brain is tangled with strugglin' with
labels they always try to name ya
On that on that on that Flipsyde

    "Change" by Sarah Connor
If your life is kind of strange, get up
    And rearrange
Make a change, change, change, make a change
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

Ahh Hunks, no its def not an AC/DC song.
    But thanks for trying

Atmaster, it is possible it could have been a YES song, but, it wasnt Perpetual Change, and its not part of Close to the Edge, the title of the song might not include anything about change but it could be in the lyrics, any ideas At?

And the three guesses weren't it.

Y'know (sorry about this...) - There WAS a song that stood out to me once, I was/am a big to middling Robert Palmer fan, and in his earlier efforts he did one that was overpowered by a driving bass/rhythm (quite annoyed me really, 'cus his texts are good).... Now what was it? Ah wait Google-time....

Oh Wah!!! now, that WAS a trip... Just returned from reading his songs menu, now, the one that I was thinking of is:-

    http://www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/r...cs-750379.html

But having then looked at the list, I remembered that that wasn't the only one where he's not gone a bit over the top with the background... I don't think it's the above, but try and give these a shufti... might well be lurking in them somewhere!!

Sorry about that - as I said - as I remember them now, they're all somewhat distorted - Or maybe I just need to visit my ENT Specialist???

While searchin' the WWW you get some great flashbacks , came upon this one , and thought , "what the heck , it's such fun to see and hear them play, I'll post it"
Prolly not the song you're after I'm afraid ..
    Steve Ray Vaughan -Change it

I agree about the flashbacks... Ever since this thread was started, a song has been faintly playing in the back of my head and it FINALLY popped out! It is definitely a Rock classic.

"Chicago" by Crosby, Stills, Nash (and sometimes Young)
    We can change the World.
    Rearrange the World.
    It's dying
    to get better.

Otherwise we are back to desparately seeking YES lyrics...

    "Then" by Yes
    As long as we see there's only us, who can change it;
Only us to rearrange it at the start of a new kind of day.

    "The Calling" by Yes
Now we hold the right to rearrange
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

Hunks, I checked all the songs I could find with audio, and none of the ones i found where it, if you can find a audio of styles, its appreciated.

Music, no its not Stevie Ray Vaughan style, but thanks ^^

Atmaster, Chicago, yes I think it was Music or someone showed me that song by another singer, and as I said, the vocals could match the song, and the overall feel but it lacks the fast paced heavy guitar.
But its close, has a deep sound, like that, you know but just what I said above lol.
If you can please give me a 30sec clip of those 2 yes songs, I looked and couldnt find any.
    Thanks!

Hmm, The Calling isn't it surely, But, "Then" has potential, Ill see if i can find a longer version of it to tell, but as of the moment, that doesnt sound like it.

    Any other ideas?

Was it "Pride" by Living Colour? Lyrics sort of match and it definitely fits the distorted guitar, buried vocal requirements.

Well , as you seem to know a lot of the songs .., it would be very nice if you can list them , it sort of narrows the field..
