    Hey everyone,

I was browsing Youtube, and I found this nice tune... The title of this clip it's اروي انت يلي, I hope I transliِِterated it properly... I searched all over the internet for some lyrics or some information, nogomi, farfesh, panet, mazzika, oghnia, la7oon, shawshara, but still nothing...

Can someone please find some lyrics and translate this??

    Well, ashkurik ya DayDream...

I found this song and actually the right title is 'Resha 3ala Rasik', not 'Inta Yalli', but that doesn't help us too much, does it?

Anyway, what dialect is? Kuweiti?? :P (a guess)

lol ya it's very difficult.. I'm not exactly sure from which country it is, but I'd say it's definitely a khaliji accent.

I finally found the lyrics, but I think they are badly arranged and maybe wrong misspelled?!?

    Who's venturing?? :P

As I discovered, on the internet there is very very little information about Arwa, but I'll share with you my research...

She a Yemenite, she used to live somewhere in the Khalij, but now she lives in Cairo.
She has a beautiful voice, and she used to sing Khaliji songs, now she began to sing in Egyptian, see 'Mkhabbi 3alayya' (Hiding From Me).
She has until now five albums, the last 'Hobbak Inta' (Your Love) just came out from the factory

    Discography:

    2000 Rajaak Waqtak
    2001 Arwa 2000
2003 Ahla Ayyami (this track, the 10th, is from this album)
    2006 Inta 3arafny
    2008 Hobbak Inta

First time when I saw this it seemed funny to me and I thought 'What is the meaning of this?', but I remembered that during the Ottoman reign, the important persons and the Sultans were wearing feathers on their turbans... =)

    18th century turban

Sultan Murad IV (reigned from 1623 to 1640)

Sultan Mustafa II (reigned from 1695 to 1703)

    xD

Thanks for the translation Mesho.. yaay now we have a khaliji expert! That's the hardest of all the Arabic dialects.. at least for me it is.

Really? But why? Aren't her songs good enough or it's about her person?
