the beginning of a new song...(PLEASE COMMENT; IT'S MY FIRST)

Hey everybody. This is my first post. Tell me what you think of it. The tune for these lyrics is pretty fast and energetic ("happy" sounding). I'd liken it to a Ben Folds-style melody. Please tell me what you think!

It's a nice start. WHat is the genre of the song?
