trying to find a mid 1980's all instumental song\album

I heard an all instrumental album in 1989, I was told it is performed by one person the only thing from it I remember is the first track. It started off with the sound of water dripping (perhaps in an alley at night after a rain storm) and I believe there were foot steps also but I can’t recall, but the dripping soon takes on a rhythm then the rest of the music starts.
Any help would be great!
Also it’s not Yanni.

I think it might be on the album Art of Noise, Daft. Try number 2 on that cd.
