New Look 'I went to see the Candyman'

Hi, I was in New Look a couple of weeks ago and a great, thumping, sing-a-long rock song came on ... and I have no idea who it is by!

All I can recall is that lyrics that repeated near the end were something like 'I've been to see the Candyman' .. and of course, any search you do on that brings up Christina Aguilera!

Has anyone got any pointers??
