Can't figure it out

Oh my gosh, there is this song that i love, funny the only words i can remember are "something about blue eyes, and either 3000 miles away or 300,000 miles away not for sure" I dont know the name of the band or the song title. The music is kinda like nickelback, staind, stuff like that. A male sings it, and no its not " behind blue eyes" . If anyone can please help that would be great. Im goin nuts trying to figure it out!!!!

I heard it on the radio, a rock channel. Yea its blue eyes...Im gettin so frustrated cause I cant remember anyother words...heard it about 3 years ago!! I have tried every search possible and still cant find anything!

I know the blue eyes lyrics, he is talking about a girls blue eyes, and it is only mention a little bit maybe even once. oh gosh maybe its hazel eyes or green eyes......grrrrrrrr Im losing my mind.
