"i like the way" old disco song

i'm trying to identify what is (possibly) a slightly obscure disco track. i'm guessing it's from 70s/early 80s. it has a woman vocalist, with quite a soulful voice.

the first verse opens with

oh i like the way... that you deep(?) (the word deep could be wrong)

and the chorus is something like

i'll take you ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

and the ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh gets repeated later on in the song.

unfortunately that's all i know, but i've heard it played by disco djs fairly recently.

no that's not it - the one i'm looking for definitely has a woman singing, and is abit faster tempo than that isley bros one. maybe around 110-120bpm.

it's definitely in a minor key and more ballad ish.

it could be that i've heard a disco re-edit of the original, so it may have more lyrics than i realise.
