    When I was a child (a very long time ago) I heard a song on the radio. I don't know all the lyrics or even who sings it. Here is what I know:
    The song has an old sailing or ship whisle in it and some of the lyrics are:
    "They can lick the deck, they can squeez the sails" "Shake down"

    That was not it but thanks for the sugestion. The whisle is like a slide whisle, it is high then low.

    Your profile doesn't give your age .....so a long time ago could be any where from the 50's to the 90's depending on your point of view.
