Post Trying to identify an old gospel song

I remember parts of a gospel song from the 1970's on an 8 track tape. I can't remember the name of the song or who sang it. I have parts of the song in my mind and have listed it below. I have searched the internet but can't make a connection. I'm hoping that someone will recognize it. Here it goes:

The sweetest sound I ever heard was early morning rain.......
The sound of children laughing, the smell of apple pie, and momma singing songs about her treasures in the sky.........
Pretty silk and satin, pretty lace and ribbon never wre the things that my momma craved; her family was her pleasure, and heaven her treasure, and momma was rich in her own kind of way........

This is all I know of it but I'm hoping it rings a bell with someone.
