I've been looking for this song for years... my sister finally heard it on XM Reggaeton today and the title they listed was incorrect.

All I know is that this song was popular in Mexican bars in 2002 or 2003, the track is a sample of "Best of My Love," and the refrain is (something something) SIGUE SIGUE!!

please help. i know this is not a lot of info... sorry...

is it sampling - The Emotions - Best of my Love?

There are a ton of songs that sample this one.

The song is mostly, if not completely, in Spanish. As was the case with many of the "party" songs heard Mexico at the time, there may have been a few key phrases in English. The main track was definitely "Best of My Love" with some bass added in. While I am almost 100% sure it's incorrect, my sister and I always sang the chorus "Don't stop/SIGUE SIGUE!" because it sounded something like that.

It's terrible to only know one word of the song. There may have been a stupid "line dance" sort of routine to it, like there was with "Follow The Leader" by the Soca Boys or whoever it was.

If anyone can crack this case, I would be so impressed, because I know it's tricky, but we've been trying for years to get this song on a CD somewhere.

I'm on it - was it a faster or slower song? I imagine faster if it was a party song. Where in Mexico did you hear it?

It was fast. They used to play it at our hotel pool in Cancun and also at all the touristy bars.

Hi! I'm also trying to find a song i heard in mexico... they played it by the pool at our hotel too! Actually I heard it all over the place and i have no words to it because the guy is just mumbling i think. It is a recent song and i haven't heard the entire song so maybe there is words. I just remember the male singer mumbling... not even real words. vaios, since you are spanish do you know what it is? help! thanks.
