    Post Hello I'm new around

    Hello people,

I'm new and reading through the whole forum, I thought, someone might give me a hand on a tiny question :

I just got my hands on the music of the Imax film Greece - The Secrets of the Past (marvellous music) but no lyrics. I searched the internet but I found only the english translation along with the Greek written lyrics. Since I do not read Greek , I tried to find the lyrics in "latinized" Greek but no luck! Do anyone know where I can find them please....I really like the music and much more the language .

    Thanks

Hello y! thanks a lot ..really

If you have any anything to translate to Maltese to english or vice versa just let me know, I'm from Malta by the way..unfortunately, here there are some languages that are not taught or there is not so much interest and Greek is one of them.

    Again...thanks

Welcome to the forum! I am sure Greek is taught somewhere in Malta (with Valleta being the obvious choice), your local Hellenic centre surely sees to that.

    Hi!
I hope I did it well but please feel free to correct it, because since am not greek and my language is Spanish the union of certain letters has a different sound for me.
Anyway I loved the whole soundtrack of this movie, it's b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l

    I know the feeling...it has some kind of strange fascination that draws me to it....it sounds crazy or perhaps it's me I'm started to crack but I kind of relax around ancient things ;}

    Hi!

    Sceanne you are very welcome.
There is a site were you can turn greek letters to latin, though as all mechanical things it's not 100% exact (it cannot think) but it helps with basics .

    http://www.translatum.gr/converter/g...-converter.htm

Laki, same feeling about ancient things, but I have a real weakness about all things related with Greece. If I was suppose to believe in re-incarnation I would swear I was greek in one of my prevoius lives.

Anyway you can buy it at:

    http://www.greekmusicshop.gr/eshop/p...productid=3817

One of my friends has bought many things there and the person at that site is very responsible and cares a lot about all the things he delivers.

You may also make an order at Amazon.

Nardy...you're an angel!!! Thanks for the link. It's very useful

Re: ancient things, I guess that sometimes, certain attractions, one is born with them and growing up, they remain the same or grow stronger but could not explain how and why....like "has them in his/her blood" kind of thing. Ancient things for me is the same, since a little girl, while others read romances and stuff, I was reading mythology as bedtime stories (and still do). Like you, Nardy, Greece and it's culture have very special bond in me heart and again, I don't know where it's coming from :P

I concur with your comments sceanne & nardy.
I've always & still am fascinated by the Ancient worlds, whether it be Ancient Greece,Rome,Mid-East,Asia,the South Americas & the ever so popular Egypt.I just love the mysteries & the beauty that surrounds these amazing places.Never get sick of watching doco's & reading anything that relates to them.
