Sorry Lady A, but there are a few problems with your translation:

1. You have come as the present tense - it should really be in the command tense. Yours would translate as "you are coming to take these eyes."
2. You have it in the Tu form - in context, because Blind Mag is saying this to Rotti Largo (her master/boss), she would have to use the formal command form (Lei), not informal (Tu).
3. Not really a problem, but because she's a female singing it, she would have to use cieca, the feminine form of the adjective.

No problem, I've translated the phrase totally out of the context, I haven't even read who was talking to whom.

Just one thing I'd like to make clear:

Vieni - besides being the second pers. sg. present tense it is also the imperative form of "venire" (second pers. sg.)

So, considering the fact that I've translated the whole phrase at the second person singular (as I have also emphasized by writing it at the beginning), there is absolutely nothing wrong with my translation.

Having trouble seeing which is the right one, so would it be, "Veini a prendere questi occhi, preferirei essere cieca" or "Venga a prendere questi occhi, preferirei essere cieca"?

Vieni - informal


As I gathered, the person who's speaking is addressing to her boss, so it would be:

"Venga a prendere questi occhi, preferirei essere cieca"

I would like to know how to say.

I don't want to be without you. I mean 'be' as don't want to exist with out you.
