so i know this is a weird thing to translate...but please!!! i tried to do it by myslef, but since my turkish is not so good it was very very hard and made no sense when it was finished...
so please someone take the time to translate this...

Johannesburg is the city I live in. It has a population of around 4 million people making it the largest city in South Africa. It is not the capital, but is often mistaken for it…just like Istanbul is thought of as Turkey’s capital to many people. Our main airport, O.R Thambo International, is the largest and busiest airport in the whole of Africa. There are not many touristic things to do in Johannesburg, only average big city things like shopping centres, but if you travel maybe an hour there are many things a tourist would love to see, like traditional African villages.

Johannesburg benim yaşadığım şehir. yaklaşık 4 milyon nüfusu ile Güney Afrika'nın en büyük şehri. başkent değil ama genelde insanlar böyle bir yanlış yapıyor. türkiye'nin insan başkenti olan İstanbul gibi. ana havalanımız o.r. thambo uluslararası, bütün Afrika'nın en büyük ve en işlek havaalanı. Johannesburg'da fazla turistik şey yok, sadece büyük alışveriş merkezleri gibi ortalama şeyler var. ama eğer bir saatlik bir seyahati göze alırsanız, geleneksel Afrika köyleri gibi, bir turistin görmek isteyeceği şeyler var.

I went to a school named King David Linksfield High School; it is a Jewish day school with about 1000 students. The school campus is huge, offering something for everyone, from sports facilities to arts and drama. School is about 8 hours a day, with an hour in the morning for religious prayers.

A little bit about South African people and our culture.... The are about 44 million people living in South Africa. We have 11 official languages, the most out of any other country, but almost every person can speak English. 80% of our people are Black, an additional 10% are either Colored or Asian, and the last 10% are White. We call ourselves the “rainbow nation” for our mixed cultures, religions and backgrounds that all blend together so well. A very very big part of any South African’s culture is sport…

Kral David Linksfield Lisesi adında bir okula gittim. yaklaşık 1000 kişilik bir Musevi gündüz okuluydu. okul kampüsü çok büyüktü, spor etkinliklerinden sanat ve tiyatroya kadar her türlü imkan sunuluyordu. okul sabahki bir saatlik dini ibadetlerle beraber günde yaklaşık 8 saattir.

biraz da güney afrika insanları ve kültürümüz... güney afrikada yaklaşık 44 milyon insan yaşamakta. 11 resmi dilimiz var fakat, bir çoğu ülke dışından başka yerlerden, yine de çoğu insan ingilizce konuşabiliyor. insanlarımızın %80'i siyah, %10 diğer ırklardan ve asyalı, geri kalan %10 beyaz. kendimizi değişik kültürler, dinler ve geçmişle harmanlanmış 'gökkuşağı ulusu' olarak tanımlarız. bir güney afrikalının kültürünün önemli bir parçası spordur...
