Hello.
It would mean a lot to me if someone could translate this song for me.

I don't speak French and my friends know just a few French words, and I've heard it has really beautiful lyrics.
Thanks! <3
Hello.
It would mean a lot to me if someone could translate this song for me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzrXY-FHwS8
I don't speak French and my friends know just a few French words, and I've heard it has really beautiful lyrics.
Thanks! <3
Here are the lyrics, first:
*****the correct version (thanks to Lyssa)*****
Je sais plus si j’ai mal
I don't know anymore if I am hurting
Ou si c’est l’habitude
Or if I am used to
Always be the one who cries and bumps into the walls
Je sais plus si j’ai froid
I don't know anymore if I am cold
Ou si c’est le vide qui me glace
Or if it's the emptiness that freezes
My bones and then my fingers when it becomes too icky
Refrain :
Je sais plus si je rêve encore
I don't know anymore if I'm still dreaming
Ou si les songes mêmes sont morts
Or if the dreams themselves are dead
Je sais plus si je t’attends
I don't know anymore if I'm waiting for you
Ou si je fais juste semblant
Or if I am right pretending to be [waiting]
Je sais plus si je veux mourir
I don't know anymore if I wanna die
Or if I want to cry about all these stupid things
I talk to myself/tell things to myself to be able to sleep and to get off the bed
Je sais plus si je cicatrise
I don't know anymore if I'm healing
Ou si je pisse encore le sang
Or if I'm still bleeding
If I am myself, if I diguise myself, if I'd like to have another baby
Refrain
Je sais plus si je suis foutue
I don't know anymore if I'm messed up
Ou si je vis effrontément
Or if I'm living a lie
Suis-je malheureuse ? Je sais même plus
Am I unhappy? I don't even know anymore
If I'm going backwards or forward
Je sais plus si c’est ta voix
I don't know anymore if it's your voice
Qui me donne la nausée au réveil
That makes me sick when I wake up/gives me the morning sickness
Or if it's the grey underneath the roofs
Et si c’est le gris c’est pas pareil
And if it is, there's nothing like it/similar.
Refrain
Je sais plus si j’ai peur
I don't know anymore if I am afraid
Ou si je ne crois plus en rien
Or if I don't believe in anything anymore
Si mes larmes coulent sur ton cœur
If my tears are falling on your heart
Si mes rires brûlent dans tes mains
If my laughter burns in your hands
I don't know anymore if it's normal to have my heart [placed] so high
Qui se soulève dans mes entrailles
That it raises up inside of me
Et bousille mon cerveau
Screwing up my brain.
Refrain
I don't know anymore if I am too ugly
Ou si c’est ce foutu miroir
Or if it's because of this damned mirror
That breaks me into pieces and flays me
L’estime et le regard
Of my selfesteem and respect
Je sais plus si sur ta langue
I don't know anymore if on your tongue
You have left a bit of my bitterness
If I'm going down, if I pitch between the sea and the foam.

Ah, thank you very much!
Je sais plus* si j’ai mal
I DON'T KNOW if I am hurt ANYMORE
=> in this cas, 'sais plus' means that you don't know anymore. You would rather say 'j'en sais plus' to express 'I know more/better' (to avoid the confusion)
Always be the one who cries and BUMPS INTO THE WALLS
=> 'se prendre le mur' means to crash into a wall, I don't know if this expression exists in english, means you fail.
Suis-je malheureuse ? Je sais même plus
Am I unhappy? I DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYMORE
=> same as for 'je sais plus' before! It's always the same meaning in the song
Now it makes sense...I found online two versions of the lyrics. The second version had the "ne" between je and sais and then I would have translated and understood it right. But when I listened to the song there was no "ne". I was very confused... because I had no idea that "sais plus" has this meaning ("I don't know anymore").
Thanks again for the corrections, I will edit the translation.
Oh it's one of the confusing meanings in french XD Rather it's more, rather it's less ^^' You have to see the context to be sure, or when spoken , you say 'je sais plu(s)' (without saying the s, to say I don't remember, or 'je sais pluS '(with stressed S to say I know more)
