hold you - you know that I don’t want to hold you
no I don’t want to hold you just for a while - it’s a lie

Im a big fan of finger-picking, it can bring out a lot of emotion. I think you've got some good rhymes and a decent idea. Personally I think it would be a great improvement if you made it a little longer and a little more complex, but thats just my preference it may not be what you're going for at all and in that case you should stick to your guns.
