Starting A Band

i only pushed the date back because i hoped we can start in 2009, since were so close, and to also get a taste of what talent we see.. the members will be posted the FIRST OF JANUARY

Since we are going to start in 2009, do you still want us to send some recordings?
I haven't been playing too long (will be a year in Jan.) but I practice all the time..
Looking forward to this.

hmmm.. I'm not sure if I have time for this...
however ....
-Have played guitar for three years, I can improvise on the whole guitar neck..
I know all the different modes.. Dorian, Lydian...
-I do a bit of singing even though its not that good to listen to
-I know all the piano chords, and thats as far as i got with my keyboard till now..
-I'm trying to learn cubase, guitar rig and kore player.. all software..
-I like a wast specter of music

so this is my information, I woun't send in a recording if not specifically asked for..

anyone care to share what they can do with their vocals? like maybe sing a song without instruments in the background -- just sing?

This is an interesting project, i hope you can get it started i look forward to seeing what songs you all come up with and wish you all the best of luck i might even consider helping out but sadly i can't play a single instrument only vocals and i imagine the majority of people posting on a lyric site will consider themselves as vocalists.

I always thought that this song needed a good solo so i decided to record one. 3 takes here my personal fave is the 2nd one listed here. Let me know if you like any and which is the best in your opinion

nice my friend i like your second one too its kind of my style..rock/metal.. cool playing..at the intro you are not exacly in the rythm of the song at the second half you lost it a bit you should practise it more but anyway good playing my friend..
