    I have this memory of long ago (when I was doing bad things to my body),

    something about a Tractor and a guy driving it over muddy roads in the Rain.

    Maybe something about a woman in there, and light acoustic guitar.

    Weird Huh ?

    It was slow and erie kind of song Probably about 1975 or a little earlier.

    Any help will be very appreciated, before I go totally crazy.

    Anyway, this sounds like a fun question......

    Do you have any definate lyrics ..... any ? Was it a story type of song like "Ode to Billy Joe".

    Sorry, I've been on holiday.

    Not the canadian song I don't remember it as a story and as far as other lyrics
    words I think I remember are (settling down) (hard life) (hard hard hard).
    Terrible i know. I can hear the slo haunting music but can't put it together.

    I was just googling some of your key words in their different forms and by chance , I left out the word TRACTOR on one of my searches.

    This is too funny, but I think I got it.

    Did you ever have the album "If only I Could Remember My Name" by David Crosby ? Circa 1973 ?
