note: although şevval sam was born and flourished in istanbul, she tries to imitate the local vernacular, for the song belongs to the black sea region of turkey. i rephrased the lyrics in standard turkish and discarded repetitions (repeated words and sentences, and redundant de's). moreover, since english doesn't have a verb for doymak (it's used here in a figurative sense), i couldn't translate the last line in a way that satisfies me, so i added an arabic translation for it.
