its a guy singing - kinda like a easy listening soft rock song..

i heard it recently on the radio

the only part i remember is he sings

i think i know the song your talking about...does it have a piano? the person singing kind of sounds like Rufus Wainwright or somebody similar. I've been trying to figure out who does this song for the past month with no luck. I heard it in Big Lots just this morning. if it's the same one it goes something like...

la da da da da da daa (little piano part) sweet melody or make melody
la da da da da da daa (little piano part) etc.

I keep hearing it in bits and pieces though. And i'm not to sure of the lyrics.

By the time I realize it's the song it's at that part towards the end and I can't remember what was playing before it because I wasn't paying attention or really listening. Ugh.

I'll keep searching and maybe something will turn up...

Ive been trying to find this out to ive went to best buy recorded it no one has heard of it i think he says in the time before the sun..

I heard this song last year during the winter holiday. do you guys think its like a "holiday song"??..i heard it again today @ work and i was trying to play close attention and i THOUGHT i heard the part where he says" pray for me", I heard "pray for peace"??..hmmmmm

I hear this song at work ALL THE TIME and it's driving me INSANE with trying to figure out who it is. I found this site via google, and I'm glad that I'm not the only one losing his mind!

The beginning of the song starts off with a military style drumbeat, kinda soft, and on snare drums, then it starts with that really relaxing music.
