This song was downloaded by my brother by accident 3 years ago when he was looking for another track ("After All These Years" by Jim Brickman), but it turned out to be pretty good. Unfortunately the MP3 file was labelled incorrectly and to this day, I don't know who sung it or the actual name of the song.
It's an adult contemporary love ballad performed by a male singer and the song has piano accompaniment, as well as violins. It would be the type of song some people would actually consider playing for a wedding.
I've tried googling the lyrics many times over the years without any success.
Because I don't know the name of the song, I can't even provide an audio link online. The most I can do is e-mail the actual MP3 to whomever wants to take a crack at attempting to identify the song itself after listening to it. My address is nue_eho@yahoo.ca.
These are the lyrics:
I have lost my way
I have made mistakes
And you still find the strength to believe
Oh there's comfort there
Knowing you still care
And you're still in love with me
When the night turns cold
When the dream grows old
When the world brings this man to his knees
When my hope is gone
Your faith still stands strong
And you're still in love with me
I don't know how I could make it without you
Your love's like the air that I breathe
You must be an angel sent down here from heaven
The way that you watch over me
And after all these years
I can't believe we're here
And you're still in love with me
I don't know how I could make it without you
Your love's like the air that I breathe
You must be an angel sent down here from heaven
The way that you watch over me
And after all these years
I can't believe we're here
And you're still in love with me
Tonight I thank my lucky stars
You are who you are
And you're still in love with me
You're still in love with me
